The Tailr application serves as a comprehensive companion to the Tailr tag, a QR code-enabled pet identification device designed to facilitate effective care for your pet. Upon scanning, the QR code directs users to a detailed and customizable profile that captures your pet’s individual needs and preferences. This platform allows for the management of multiple pet profiles within a single interface and enables seamless sharing of essential documents with caregivers.

Key features include a lost-and-found function and five dedicated profile sections that provide a voice for your pet’s unique characteristics:

<li>Health: Communicate vital health information, including medications and medical conditions, while storing your pet’s complete medical history for quick access by authorized caregivers.</li>
<li>Behavior: Document specific personality traits and quirks to ensure your pet is recognized accurately, even when you are unavailable.</li>
<li>Grooming: Record grooming preferences and sensitivities, helping to prevent stressful experiences during visits to professional groomers.</li>
<li>Play: Share information about preferred toys and play styles, promoting consistent engagement and happiness for your pet in your absence.</li>
<li>Food: Convey dietary restrictions, allergies, feeding schedules, and other nutritional considerations to ensure your pet’s dietary needs are consistently met.</li>

The lost-and-found feature functions as a rapid alert system, notifying nearby users with the Tailr app if your pet goes missing. When located, the QR code on the tailer tag can be scanned to retrieve essential information for safe return. Notifications are also provided when and where the tag is scanned, facilitating communication during reunification efforts.
